Stainless Steel Clad Plate (Hot Rolled)

Stainless Steel Clad Plate (Hot Rolled)

Product Description

Hot rolling is a rolling process that involves rolling steel at temperatures above the recrystallization temperature of the steel (typically at temperatures in excess of 1700°F). When steel is above the recrystallisation temperature it can be easily formed and shaped, and the steel can be made into larger sizes. Hot-rolled steel is usually cheaper than cold-rolled steel because it is usually manufactured without any delay and therefore does not need to be reheated (as is the case with cold-rolled steel). As the steel cools, it shrinks slightly, so there is less control over the size and shape of the finished product than with cold rolling.

The hot rolling process for stainless steel is made from slabs (mainly continuous cast slabs), which are heated by the roughing and finishing rolling units. The hot steel from the final finishing mill is cooled by laminar flow to a specified temperature and rolled into coils by a coiler. After cooling, the steel surface has an oxide layer and is black in color, commonly known as "stainless steel black coil". After annealing and pickling to remove the oxidation surface, that is, "stainless steel white rolls". Some stainless steel hot-rolled products can be used directly, some need to be processed into cold-rolled products before use.

Hot rolled stainless steel clad plate is a leading-edge material, which features the strong points of stainless steel and carbon steel. Like high strength, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, wear resistance, bonding proof and acid-base resistance; with 50 years of service life; low carbon steel price; and ensures its good strength, toughness, bending and stretching, impact resistance. Our clad plates have been widely applied in industries such as petroleum, chemistry, electricity, paper making, alkali making, irrigation works, automobiles, salt, medicine, food and public facilities.

Features

The advanced hot-rolled bonding technology makes the combination far more stronger than that of the explosion bonding, more eco-friendly than the explosion bonding, and the turnaround time is quicker. The strength of the bonding interface is uniform which makes the anti-corrosion layer fully utilized, and hot-rolled cladding technology can produce a clad plate with super with and ultra length.

It has the following characteristics.

* High corrosion resistance.

* High strength

* High toughness and impact resistance

* Temperature resistance from low to high temperatures

* High machinability, stamping, fabrication and welding

* Smooth surface finish, easy to clean and disinfect
