SBT Custom Oil Seals
An oil seal generally consists of an outer circular metal part and an inner flexible member that does the actual sealing and is bonded to the metal part by chemical adhesive agents. A fine sealing edge provides adequate pressure on the shaft to prevent leakage.
SBT custom oil seal customized orders are accepted. Our machining size range is 10 mm~500mm in outer diameter, and the tolerance range of imperial units’ oil seals is ±0.015inch; the tolerance range of metric units' oil seals can reach ±0.3mm. Machinable materials are Nitrile (NBR), Viton®, Fluorocarbon (FKM), Silicone (VMQ), Neoprene®, Chloroprene (CR), Ethylene Propylene (EPDM), Polyacrylic (ACM), Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR), Fluorosilicone (FVMQ), Polyurethane (AU/EU), Hydrogenated Nitrile (HNBR), and Methyl Vinyl Silicone (MVQ)..
