Cellulose diacetate tablets (referred to as cellulose diacetate tablets) are a kind of modified regenerated cellulose in the form of white powder or strips. It is the main raw material for producing acetate fiber tow for tobacco.
The production of vinegar chips takes high-purity bleached wood pulp as raw material, acetic anhydride as acetylating agent and acetic acid as solvent. Under the action of catalyst, the cellulose of wood pulp is acetylated. After pretreatment, acetylation, hydrolysis, precipitation, washing, extrusion and drying, the cellulose is modified to become a spinnable cellulose diacetate tablet soluble in acetone and other organic solvents.

Cellulose diacetate is used in the preparation of enteric coating, cellulose acetate filter membrane, etc. for the preparation of cellulose acetate plastic, cellulose acetate filter membrane, etc.

Cellulose diacetate is a white, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic granular, powdered or fibrous solid. The melt has good fluidity, is easy to form and process, and the molded products have the advantages of toughness, transparency and good luster. The properties of molded products are: tensile strength 13~61MPa; Impact strength (cantilever beam method) 21.4 ～ 287J/m2; Thermal deformation temperature (under 453 kPa stress) 43~98 ℃; Volume resistivity l013 Q - cm. Self-extinguishing plastics can be prepared by adding flame retardant. Triacetate fiber is stronger and stronger than diacetate fiber, with nearly twice the tensile strength, high compression strength and high heat resistance, so it is suitable for manufacturing photographic substrates such as film. Cellulose diacetate is soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid and acetone, while cellulose triacetate is insoluble in dichloromethane and chloroform, but cellulose diacetate is insoluble in dichloromethane and chloroform.

Usage:

It is used for making enteric coating, acetate fiber filter membrane, etc. for making acetate fiber plastic, cellulose acetate filter membrane, etc.
Cellulose acetate can be divided into diacetate spinning grade cellulose acetate, diacetate plastic grade cellulose acetate and cellulose triacetate according to different products.
1. Diacetate spinning grade cellulose acetate: spinning grade products are internationally recognized non-toxic and harmless products that have not yet found alternative materials. Its most important and main use is as filter equipment, especially cigarette filter tip, which is used in a very large amount. In addition, it is used as medical filter equipment, such as blood filter equipment; At the same time, it can also be used for spinning, with the luster of silk, as the name of high-grade suits.
2. Diacetate plastic grade cellulose acetate: mainly used for making plates and sheets. The main products include glasses frame, advanced tool handle, etc.
3. Cellulose triacetate: mainly used as electronic film, such as polarizer of liquid crystal display, cinematographic film and camera film.
